The Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate are a Catholic religious congregation of priests and brothers founded by St. Eugene de Mazenod in 1816 in France. Oblates are missionaries called to bring the Gospel to people who are poor, abandoned, or on the margins of society. They serve in parishes, schools, retreat centers, missions, and ministries around the world.

The word “Oblate” comes from the Latin word oblatus, meaning “offered” or “dedicated.” Oblates seek to offer their lives completely to God and to the Church in service to others.
